This video is worth the watch. Greengenes Garden has, in my opinion, the best way to germinate seeds called "Float Tech". This is the only way we germinate... It's easy, successful and no root damage from paper towel. Also, this allows you to plant a seed with the tap root already out; which insures it will sprout.
We lost 'THE' king of Hashish, Frenchy Cannoli, in July 2021. He was a legend. I learned so much from him about the 'how to's', 'why's' and 'from where's' of Hashish. If you grow, you should be making hash; and if you wanna make hash, you gotta watch Frenchy!
This guy won free seeds from us to celebrate our Grand Opening on 4/20/2021. He sent in a video of unboxing our package. Good luck with the grow Patrick.
For those not familiar with the difference between photoperiod and autoflower... Here you go:
A photoperiod cannabis plant requires a light change to go into flowering. When grown indoors, typically changing the light/dark phase to 12/12 hours. This will induce the plant to flower.
Autoflower cannabis plants do not need a shift in light; they flower all on their own. The benefit is a faster seed to harvest period with no worries of providing 12 hours of complete darkness. The draw backs include a smaller plant (although we have no problem seeing 3 footers), and it is advised to not top autos (although, we have, and the world did not end).
And last, but not least; Flowering times... Most seed companies like to label their strains as "8 week flowering". Honestly, we have never met a strain that should go less than 9/10 weeks (sativas are up to 13 weeks). So keep that in mind when growing any strain; push them as long as possible. "Nuff said"!
